About Me...

Hi. I'm Dr. Gavin Adams, an author, communicator, strategic consultant, and leadership coach helping leaders and pastors work on it, not just in it.

From the marketplace to ministry, I’ve spent my professional life pinpointing problems, innovating solutions, and implementing strategies.

After business school, I spent my first decade working as a strategist and change management consultant.

During my 15-year ministry journey, I helped plant a church, revitalize a church, pastor a rapidly growing church, lead a mega-church, and lead a campus for a multi-site church.

My unique and uncommon experience gives me a fundamental understanding of virtually every leadership challenge.

I have an M.B.A. from Georgia State University and a Masters of Theology and Doctorate of Ministry from Liberty University.

“Leaders create the future.
Managers maintain the present.
Organizations tend to prefer the latter.

– GAVIN ADAMS

Leadership has been called influence, ascribed to charismatics and visionaries, and relegated to organizational positions and titles.

We know that leadership isn’t restricted to personality types, executive functions, or relational dynamics. We find leadership in these spaces, but none of that is holistic enough to define leadership.
Leadership primarily concerns innovation and creation with, in, and through people.
Unfortunately, most of what we call leadership is actually management. Leaders innovate, create, and solve problems through people. Managers orchestrate and run the model through systems and processes.

Both are important and required for organizational success, but too often, leadership is left behind. After all, there’s so much to do!

Your organization can't thrive tomorrow
if you aren't leading well today.
